ALFAKAT

 

In 2015 the project ALFAKAT was born with her first EP release GAIA 2017.

 

Recording GAIA in Spain was an epic and inspiring journey, where Alfakat visited her first shelter for abused Spanish Galgos. She was left heartbroken by the man made suffering of these most magical beings. She knew she did not have any choice, than to be the voice of the Galgos and Greyhounds.

 

This leap of faith was inevitable and soon after she adopted two Spanish Galgos, whom is still her biggest love and inspiration in life.

Set out to bring awareness and positive change through creativity she teamed up with the spanish film director Yeray Lopez and made her first end credit song for the award winning documentary film Yo Galgo 2018.

While re recording a version of the song Karma Comes Around in a concert hall, it was obvious that the cinematic musical direction was where Alfakat is thriving as an artist.

 

Alfakat is currently signed to a sync management as a composer, songwriter and artist.

Alfakat works very well with bespoken and have a unique vokal, where she excels in the dramatic and often melancholic expression.
